Ciacci Piccolomini is a sophisticated boutique winery situated alongside the beautiful Tuscan hilltop of Montalcino, an area known for its prestigious Brunello wines. The family-owned winery uses its knowledge from generations of winemakers to create pure, quality wines. One of their wines, a 2015 Pianrosso, boasts a James Suckling score of 100/100.

A friend in the field, Francesco Bolla owned one of the biggest names in Veneto, Italy - Bolla wines - before starting his new brand, Poggio Verrano. The modern winery sits along the coast of Maremma, one of Italy’s best-kept secrets and home to great Super Tuscan wines.
Now Valentina Bolla, daughter of the legendary winemaker, carries on the fifth-generation tradition of creating elegant artisanal wines. Valentina recently received her distinguished WSET diploma.

Firriato winemakers, another close friend in the field, is located in Sicily and has a vast diversity of vineyards ranging from the mysterious volcanic terroir of Mt. Etna to the seafront terroir of Favignana. Firriato creates quality wines while respecting nature and innovating its production to stay eco-friendly. Today, Federico Lombardo di Monte Iato, one of Firriato’s winemakers, keeps the family passion of Firriato moving forward.
